The Cholmondeley Arms- Cheshire.

The Christmas season is for long muddy walks, sipping on hot chocolate, and getting out the over-sized jumpers that are only worn in the comfort of your own home. The Cholmondeley Arms felt like the perfect place to be on a cold December's night, creating a welcoming atmosphere with open fire places and dimly lit areas; a relaxing environment that suits all.

Adjacent to Cholmondeley Castle (Cheshire), the British pub was once a Victorian schoolhouse dating back to 1862; convereted into a public house in 1988.

During the Refurb:

The pubs carpets were taken away to reveal the original wooden floorboards which were used for the school at the time.

The walls were sandblasted back to strip away the paint and reveal the warm coloured brickwork underneath.
